Well, you cant ask for much more than that. Than what Greg?!?!?! Well, quit interupting and I'll tell ya! (SHEESH) You see, it's like this. Yesterday was turkey day and hopefully you all had a nice one and it's also the day of the big parade in New York City. You know the one, it's broadcast over 2 stations and is watched by millions and millions of people every year. All the balloons, and marching bands and the rockettes (of course)... This parade signifies the true beginning of the holiday season for many due to it's ending. Why the ending? Well, it always finishes with the arrival of Santa Claus. Now, as we all learned in Frosty, christmas snow is magic so there must be a little something in this dusting of white stuff that's going on right now. So yes, it's a little bit [img]cool.gif[/img] to me to have the holiday season start officially start out with a little bit of snow. Now, it wont be enough to make a snow dude or snow dudette, but it does kinda look nice . Kinda like a light sprinking of powdered sugar over everything. So to go along with those who woke up at 3 am to go shopping at 4 am (whatever floats your boat ya'll, not so much for me, but have at it and knock yourselves out) You get a little dusting of christmas snow to start your war in the stores today and for the rest of us, well maybe it'll get us all into the so called "holiday spirit) Or it may just make us all realize that the winter weather is really finally here. With many of the who-has and what-nots starting this weekend, it couldnt have come at a better time.

Went down to see the lighting of the tree on the square tonight.
HUGE crowd and it was c-c-c-c-cold! [img]eek.gif[/img]

They did a nice job of it and they had fireworks at the end (which was pretty [img]cool.gif[/img] )
Kids seemed to dig it, especially when santa showed up and helped to do the countdown to the lighting of the tree.

All in all, it was a nice kickoff to the holiday season. [img]graemlins/thumbs_up.gif[/img]

So long as you are happy with it Greg. We are having spring again, highs all week in the low 80s and lows in the mid 60s. Now that is MY kind of weather! I have been looking forward to this week's weather since about August when it had been 90+ for a few months already. Tried to go swimming yesterday in the Gulf but it was just a bit too chilly for me.
